Below is a collection of Taylor Ann's best works from the past few years. This section includes pieces from her fellowship as well as coursework from upper-division classes including Applied Public Relations Writing where students hone their PR writing skills by working on a variety of content PR pros routinely write such as blog posts, press releases, and speech releases and work from Taylor Ann's capstone class, Public Relations Campaigns, where she and a team of her peers created a campaign for a local nonprofit. 

Autism Tennessee Press Release

Hall Strategies 2024

Fellows at Hall Strategies are tasked with a variety of public relations work to assist them in gaining necessary experience as they begin their careers. 

The following press release was for a local nonprofit based in Middle Tennessee, Autism Tennessee. Autism Tennessee seeks to provide support and resources for the autistic community. 

This release was pitched to local media outlets. 

Forrest Spence Fund Campaign Plan Book

Public Relations Campaigns 2023

Forrest Spence Fund is a nonprofit located in Memphis, Tennessee.  Their aim is to provide families with chronically and critically ill support. the do this through offerings a multitude of grants and programs that meet different needs. After a meeting with the client, each team of students picked an issue surrounding the organization and created a campaign to solve the problem.

 

This capstone project provided students with a variety of skills needed for the workforce. Among those are, experience in  research, planning, and graphic design , and as well as collaboration, problem-solving, and organizational leadership skills. 

At the end of the semester student present the plan book for the founder of the non-profit and  their peers.

Students were given the assignment to present a theoretical ethical situation for an enterprise and explain what ethics were violated, how they would present the issue to their boss, and how they would solve the problem.

My Cup of Tea Position Paper

Applied Public Relations Writing 2022

My Cup of Tea is a nonprofit based in the Orange Mound neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. Their goal is to assist women in a variety by providing resources, community, and encouragement. 
 

Students were tasked with choosing a local nonprofit and writing a position paper as if they were an employee of the organization. The paper deals with the organization's main problem and the ways they can help solve the issue. 

This assignment allowed students to focus on research and better understand how it can be used to help public relations professionals.
